My Bio
Who have I become? After 20 plus years in front of a computer (some commercial art, some web design and medical transcription) I took a leap of faith and decided it was time to do what I was supposed to be doing in the first place. My art is now hands-on using almost every media imagined. I made a commitment in 2016 to work on my series of art every day. It is titled the Stream of Collective Consciousness.
The whole concept of this series, is to allow myself to concentrate on a significant word of the day. I place the date on the front of the piece as well as the word. On the originals, I have been writing on the back of these half-sheet-sized cardstock creations, just letting the ideas flow. When you see one of my submissions, make sure to take the time to read what I have typed underneath the image.
I am attempting to post to DeviantArt one a day. I have many more completed, and soon I will have a marketable product, but until then keep up with me and make me a favorite to follow.

I don't know if anyone out there has had trouble with their knee, such as a sprain or strain, but it is a bummer I have to say. Looks like after a fall that happened over 7 weeks ago, I am going to go to physical therapy. When it rains it pours, as I also have been diagnosed with cellulitis on my foot. Hey, if I am going to fall apart, let's get it all over with at one time, then I can be healthy the rest of the year!

Family Reunions and Hot Hot Days

Today I have submitted a piece named PUSH. This is shared with you on this extremely hot day, with temperatures over 85 in the shade with a bucket of ice, and the humidity is streaming down in vapors, at least from my hot human body....oh, and not in that way, you must be kidding me. Although, I am looking good for my almost 53 years of age, and given the challenges in my life that I have endured...hey, I'm not too bad off in that department, at least I keep telling myself that. Things Happen

For those of you who have been patiently waiting for my return, thanks for checking on me once more. I have had some personal changes in my life, needing time to reflect. Have you ever noticed that when you need down time, that something will happen to you where you are forced to take a break? Well, luckily I didn't break my knee, but I did sprain it and have repeatedly attempted to go forth as best I can, therefore not allowing the time for it to heal. Then needing more time to rest after all. So, thanks for waiting. Hope to submit one a day for a bit until....more things happen.

Look for me soon in Buckhannon, WV at Festival Fridays held at Jawbone Park. I will start selling prints and greeting cards. Not ready for online sales just yet, but sometime later this summer, fingers crossed.

I'm proud of you for giving yourself the permission and task of creating art. Will any of your pieces be for sale?
Thank you for your encouragement. I hope to have some marketing for my art up and running in a few weeks. I would like to be able to sell them in many forms; not only cards, but possibly as posters, tee shirts, mugs....and dare I hope... quilts. When I lay them side by side on a bed, I can't help but hope for that quilt to come true. Another dream is to have them as a tear off calendar at the end of the year, a page a day style. The calendar would have the day of the week for that year embedded, I would imagine. These variations, aside from the calendar idea, will be offered with or without the date on the front. The date may be important, or may be disregarded by anyone who appreciates my work.
